Dr. Lawrence Williams is Director of Product Management at Ansoft, LLC., subsidiary of ANSYS. He is responsible for product strategy of all Ansoft products including the industry leading High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). He is a technical expert in the fields of electromagnetics, high-speed electronics, microwave engineering, antennas, and communications, and is engaged in business planning, technical publications, lecturing, and business strategy.

Dr. Lawrence Williams is an expert in electromagnetics, antennas, high-speed electronics, and communications engineering with over 50 technical publications on the subject. A specialist in applications of high-performance electronic design automation (EDA) software, he concentrates on coupled electromagnetic - circuit simulation for microwave antennas, circuits, and electronic system chip/package/board design. He is an expert in complex antenna system design and phased arrays and has demonstrated his ability to build and lead diverse engineering teams to deliver high-technology designs and products. Dr. Williams has award winning writing and superb presentation skills with international presentation experience. He has held U.S. DoD Secret with SBI Security Clearance. Dr. Williams earned the Masters, Engineers, and Ph.D. degrees from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
